Who we are

entrepreneurboat is a founder-led engineering and compliance company. Our key areas are legacy system modernization, product industrialization and regulatory compliance. We focus on technical software and embedded systems for industrial SMEs and tech startups. We work on technically demanding, often safety-adjacent projects where discipline, documentation, and compliance awareness are not optional.

Who we look for

We work with experienced engineers and specialists on a project basis. For the right people, this can evolve into a longer-term collaboration — or, where it makes sense, a permanent arrangement. Profiles that fit our work:

  • Embedded software engineers with hands-on firmware and real-time systems experience.

Full-Stack / native software engineers with experience in technical / industrial applications.

OT/ICS specialists with expertise in industrial communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Modbus, PROFINET, etc.).

    Engineers with a background in safety-critical development and/or cybersecurity (ISO 26262/IEC 61508, ISO 21434/IEC 62443).

Regulatory or compliance specialists with a technical background in industrial regulations/frameworks (e.g. CRA, NIS-2, or Machinery Regulation).

Beyond technical skill, what matters to us: You understand that documentation is part of the deliverable, not an afterthought. And you are comfortable working in environments where compliance is a real constraint, not a checkbox.

Also: While we don’t micromanage, we do expect you to take ownership and accountability for your work.
